Job Description:

Job Type: Part-Time Permanent

Work Location: 1121 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON, K7K 6C7

Workdays: Monday to Friday (Must be available to work all 5 days)

Shift Hours: 4:30 AM to 9:30 AM * (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs) *

Shift Duration: 3-5 hours per day

Hourly Wage: $17.75

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailersLearn and properly execute company-established package handling methodsSort and stock packages based on postal code

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.Full availability to work Monday through Friday (all five days of the week)Must be able to work 25 hours per week Ability to read and memorize postal codesComfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environmentComfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehiclesNo prior warehouse experience required

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

EXPENSES/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Monthly union dues (approximately $52/month)A union initiation fee of $50 (will be deducted after completing 90 working days with UPS)
