Warehouse Trainer

Position Summary:
Under minimal direction from a manager, the Warehouse Trainer is responsible for training associates on the warehouse operations processes for scanning and sorting returned goods with a goal of helping them achieve a high level of accuracy and productivity while also following all safety protocols.

Primary Accountabilities:

Conduct on-the-job training for associates responsible for processing returned goods in the facilityTraining should include, but is not limited to: Scanning product codes to input data into company’s computerized system for processingSorting scanned product into appropriate container locationsInspecting the condition of productPreparing product for disposition in accordance with the client’s contract termsMaintaining a clean and well-organized work areaAnswer questions and aid associates in meeting their daily production, accuracy, and safety goalsEnsure associates have all tools necessary to complete their job responsibilitiesEnsure associates are provided with a safe, hazard free work environmentEscalate issues or concerns to the Production Supervisor or Team LeadFollow all safety and facility operating procedures

Additional Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications:

High School or equivalent required1-3 years 0-2 years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position requiredMust be Bi-Lingual preferred (English and Spanish)Good working knowledge of computers and other equipment used in processing productAbility to work under time pressure and meet production goalsAbility to assist other operations within the warehouse, as needed and if applicableAbility to meet set production and quality goals and follow standard operating and safety proceduresAbility to work with hazardous wasteAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environmentExcellent verbal and written communication and organizational skillsAbility to successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously, works efficiently, and meet deadlines in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions

At Inmar, compensation reflects our belief in integrity, transparency, and the value of individual contributions. The hiring pay rate for this position is: 

$16.20

Incremental pay increase are provided at 3 months and 12 months of employment. This is a non-exempt, hourly role eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state laws.

In addition to base hourly pay, eligible employees in this role may receive: 

Safety bonuses based on meeting defined performance and compliance requirements.

Shift differentials, where applicable(e.g. for evening or late shifts)
