Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to be our next Warehouse Trainer in our Coxsackie, NY Distribution Center. Join our team today!
**Responsibilities:**
As a Warehouse Trainer you will:
+ Conduct and facilitate on-the -job training programs for Ferguson DC associates, both new hires and existing.
+ Trains new and current associates on safety requirements within the warehouse and ensures proper tracking of training status for each associate
+ Leads New Hire Orientation and owns overall New Hire training schedule
+ Completes one-on-one training of job specific warehouse operations and WMS processes with new and existing associates
+ Is responsible for all Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training in the warehouse including initial certification, recertification and accident retraining's.
+ Provide recurrent training for all certification and require safety training programs
+ Supports the site management to comply with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, completing documentation and records as required.
+ Audits the work of all associate for adherence to training standards and SOPs
+ Audits training processes for each department to ensure consistency to SOPs
+ Meets regularly with department leaders to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
+ Must have prior training experience in a warehouse or distribution environment and must be proficient at powered equipment training such as forklifts and pallet jacks as well as have successful implementation of general safety programs.
+ Experience in operation of and training on Powered Industrial Equipment
+ Must be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate training across multiple shifts (5-10% of time)
+ Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage deadlines through effective organization, delegation and time management skills
+ Exhibits superior communication skills (oral, written and telephone skills)
+ Shows outstanding presentation and public speaking skills
+ Practices and demonstrates successful facilitation of training programs
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and our learning management system: (ELM) Enterprise Learning Management

**Pay Range:**

$16.36 - $35.54
