Your Role:
MilliporeSigma in Bellefonte, PA is hiring a Warehouse Operator. The Warehouse Operator will perform a variety of functions to ensure efficient flow of work and accurate control of product inventory in the packaging and handling of raw materials in the Raw Materials Warehouse. Specific job duties include:
Packing and labeling bulk resins and vendor supplied itemsUsing calibrated balances to weigh proper quantities of resin or other items into packaging containers according to SOP/MPSLabel and attach appropriate instructions/directions to containers/boxesReceive and stock materials from production and receiving in the Raw Material warehouseInspect for proper materials and quantities receivedEnsure that materials are properly identified and placed in designated storage locationsGather and distribute raw, intermediate, and other stock items according to shop packets and material pick listFill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials according to information on the requestDistribute materials to appropriate areas in a timely mannerMaintain high inventory accuracy levelsAssist with transaction entry and monitoring of editsPerform cycle counts and edit reportsAddress and find solutions for inventory inaccuraciesOperate motorized fork trucks and lifts
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating forklifts1+ years’ production experienceKnowledge of basic inventory control practices and Supelco brand productsExperience with material handling equipmentOral and written communication skillsBasic computer knowledge
