Warehouse Team Member

Position Purpose: Warehouse Team Member’s key responsibilities are the daily movement of all goods in the supply chain. This includes put away of finished goods into warehouse, staging orders, loading orders onto a truck, receive and put away of raw materials, supplying production with raw materials and WIP. WTM are responsible for completion of all documentation, conducting inventory / cycle counts of FG and raw materials, and tracking locations of all goods using inventory management system. WTM are first responders to the automated palletizing work cell (WC 99).  Owners of the general warehouse operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inbound
• First responder to WC 99
• Throughout the shift, supply production with all raw materials needed for the shift and put away
when no longer needed. (Finished goods, foam, foil, color, boxes, pallets and etc.)
• Pull finished goods pallets from WC99 wrapper and verify all COC’s match and create pallet tags
and place on pallet
• Put away all finished goods pallets in warehouse
• Fill pallet dispenser with pallets on WC 99 and CC8
• Pull Intercept pallets from work cell and bring to warehouse to apply corner boards, top sheets,
wrap, and tag. Then put away in the racks provided for Intercept pallets
• Pull non automated pallets from production door and bring to warehouse to wrap, tag, and put away
• Complete all required documentation including “Row 1” clearance at shift change
• All other duties as assigned

Outbound
• Pick and stage finished goods for shipping.
• Inspect all loads for quality issues and correct prior to loading.
• Live load full truck loads, LTL, and package deliver services (UPS, FedEx).
• Stage, audit, and document Intercept shipments.
• Assist in unloading and storage of raw materials.
• Cycle counts of finished goods.
• Facilitate FIFO and warehouse organization with Inbound.
• Complete all required pick/loading documentation and verifications.
• All other duties as assigned

Non-Essential Functions
• Maintain clean work area and general housekeeping.
• Take out trash and scrap corrugate during and EOS.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Help in other job functions as required.
• Assist in loading and unloading of material and equipment for other departments.
• All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or 1-year experience in inventory
and warehousing preferred
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, & Outlook)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to safely operate a fork truck
• Must be able to safely work in high traffic area

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Repetitive bending from the upright position to approximately a 35-degree angle
• Ability to pick up boxes and buckets of product weighing up to 50 lbs. from a pallet
• Must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Pulling or pushing a hand jack with product weighing up to 500 lbs.
• Repetitive mounting and dismounting of forklift
• Must have good or corrected vision and hearing
