Purpose of Role: To lead a team of Warehouse Assistants in carrying out the various functions within the Warehouse Department

Key Responsibilities:EHS ResponsibilitiesSupervisors shall demonstrate leadership and set a personal example in health, safety and environment by fulfilling the responsibilities outlined below:Ensure the implementation of the Company EHS Policy for the prevention of injury, damage or loss to Company personnel and resources and ensure that line management are fully aware of their accountability for the environment, health and safety of Company Employees and others who may be affected by Company activities.Ensure that employees are made aware of particular EHS hazards and the necessary preventative action to be taken.Stop employees from taking unnecessary risks and stop any unsafe acts.Ensure new employees, visitors, particularly young persons, are given appropriate safety instructions, supervision and mentoring and take all necessary safety precautions and immediately report any hazardous situations.Not permit the use of plant and equipment, which is in unsafe condition, and immediately report defects. Ensure that persons under their control are competent and capable of carrying out any work allocated to them.Carry out Tool Box Talks as required. Assist with incident investigation and complete routine site inspections in accordance with company standards Ensure incidents are reported through the company incident reporting system. Support EHS policy to help deliver cultural development and sustained continual improvement in performance. Ensure that sub contractors operate in accordance with Company EHS policy.Main Responsibilities:Supervise and attend to all warehouse functions of materials receipt, storage, issuance, labeling, packing, fumigation, marshalling and loading. Counts, weighs, measure and inspect external packaging of all incoming and outgoing goodsEnsure accuracy of all documents related to warehouse Transfer materials or goods correctly and timely Maintain proper, accurate and up-to-date ERP system transactions, stocks movement records and filing Ensure relevant supply chain database file are updated in timely manner Participate in physical stock count and cycle count Implement and maintain proper routine housekeeping.Raise ICAR or NCR whenever non conformity occurs Responsible for stock accuracy and ensure adherence to FIFORaise PR whenever necessary To use forklift or other material handling equipment to facilitate material movements / storage. Establish and maintain health and safety procedures and ensure compliance and familiarity of the procedureTo carry out weekly HSE and Monthly safety equipment / tools inspection. Raise Near Miss ReportRaise Plant maintenance Request Work & coordinate with QC & production personnel/team for any Non-Conformance items replacement/deliveryTo Train and motivate subordinate Be instrumental in driving behavioural and cultural change within their operating area.
