At Smith+Nephew we are looking for: Warehouse Team Leader

Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for coordination and follow-up of activities of the end-to-end warehouse operations. The candidate is expected to be able to confidently manage the warehouse proactively and be able to review and improve performance metrics on a daily basis. Optimization of service level, as well as strict cost optimization are mandatory.

Location:Warsaw, role performed on-site

What will you be doing?

Oversee national warehousing and distribution operations, ensuring cost-effective freight and logistics managementImplement and maintain operational procedures to ensure accurate dispatch and return of products in good conditionLead and manage warehouse teams to ensure adherence to SOPs and drive process efficiencyCoordinate reverse logistics for equipment and instruments, ensuring timely collection and returnsMonitor third-party supplier performance, engaging regularly to review service levels and KPIsConduct regular productivity checks to assess individual and team contributions to operational targetsEnsure full compliance with health, safety, legal, and regulatory standards across all logistics functions

What will you need to be successful?

Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively across all levelsA proactive, self-starter attitude with high energy and a customer-first mindsetExcellent organizational, operational, and planning abilities to manage competing prioritiesSolid SAP experience; additional IT skills are a strong advantageResilience under pressure, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environmentA practical problem-solving approach, combined with a lean management mindsetConfident stakeholder management and the ability to build strong working relationships
