Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an Operations Shift Leader to join their team. As an Operations Shift Leader, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support department, driving excellence in production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and a passion for continuous improvement, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Operations Team Lead

Location: Canaan, CT

Pay Range: $24.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift (6:30 AM - 7:30 PM) and 2nd Shift (6:30 PM - 7:30 AM)
**We are looking for 2 candidates: one for day shift and one for night shift

What's the Job?

Lead day-to-day activities of the manufacturing unit by coaching associates on safety, quality, and production goals. Ensure compliance with quality systems, policies, and safety regulations. Provide regular feedback and create a learning environment for associates. Collaborate with production planning to establish and monitor production schedules. Track production metrics and communicate progress to associates and management.

What's Needed?

Ability to read, write, and converse in English. Strong leadership and communication skills. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Willingness to uphold company values and foster a positive work environment.
