The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future.

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Lead for our 2nd shift. This position will be based at our Wendell, NC location.

As a Team Lead, you will manage all aspects of receiving and shipping. Our Lead position requires basic warehousing skills and will be responsible for all aspects of material handling. Candidates will be handling inbound materials, auditing, replenishment, and will also perform put-away and inventory tasks.

Shift Hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Hourly Rate: $24.79 + $1.00 Shift Differential

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:  

Basic Qualifications: 

5+ years of experience working in the receiving/shipping department of a manufacturing plant. 3+ years’ experience with Forklifts (Reach truck, sit down, Cherry pickers) Experience using SAP – ERP system and RF Devices. Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs. occasionally Advanced proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and resolve conflict in a professional manner. Previous experience in a manufacturing setting or a related position. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications: 

High School Diploma or GED 5S/6S Problem solving (A3, 8D, etc) Previous experience with leading/training teams

 As the Warehouse Team Lead, you will:

Safely operates a stand-up reach truck, stand-up order picker, sit-down forklift, and drives a Yard Jockey to position trailers for loading/unloading; proficient with small hand tools, battery, electrical, and air power tools. Accurately receives incoming materials, supplies, and products; verifies shipments, inspects condition, files damage claims, and records received items per established procedures. Maintains and manages inventory while ensuring adherence to 5S+, Lean principles (8 Wastes, VSM, Kaizens, Standard Work), and continuous process improvement. Adheres to developed processes and methods, while also identifying opportunities for improvement. Empowers the team by participating in equipment/work area cleaning for safety and functionality, and supports new employee training and SAP system access setup. Performs additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

The pay range for this position is $24.79 per hour, plus an additional $1.00 shift differential. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
