Job Description

In this role you must be able to perform all job functions across all areas of the warehouse.  Perform all material handler level functions required to be certified in the Finished Goods Warehouses including receiving, storage, and distribution of all materials.

YOUR TASKS

Identify and sort incoming tires based on tread stripes, tread pattern, and sidewall markings.Accurately receive, store, and process transactions on all incoming materialsPull orders, deliver materials to production or to the dock per customer requirements and process SAP transactions.Follow standard practices and perform all work promptly and accurately, obtaining quality and productivity objectives.Remain flexible to work where need arisesFollow all plant, environmental, safety, quality, and departmental policies.Safely operate and care for forklifts.Support inventory accuracy through daily operations.Accurately input data via computer and/or hand-held scannersPerform other duties as assigned by management

NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as steel toes, hearing protection, etc.The job is within a climate-controlled environment. 

 

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

High School Diploma/GED Three or more years manufacturing supervisory experience including lead or relevant military supervisory experienceOne Year Warehouse ExperienceLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

1+ years of Warehousing/Shipping and/or Receiving ExperienceBachelor’s degree

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently from floor to shoulder height.Able to frequently stop, bend at waist and kneesAble to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of timeAble to mount and dismount from forklifts, sit and drive for long periods of time
