Your Role at KIK

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for operating an efficient, productive, and safe department within the various functions of the operation; Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Control, Administrative Operations, Training, while meeting or exceeding daily productivity requirements. Maintains a productive, positive, and motivated workforce by spending a minimum of 80% of the total shift "on the floor". The ideal candidate’s strengths include a continuous improvement approach, evaluating opportunities for improvement, and a strong drive to WIN. This role will initially support our Flex Shift, which supervises a team with a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday 10:30 AM till 7:00 PM.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drive site KPI’s and drive continuous improvement.Manage hourly team to ensure timely and accurate processing and distribution of product.Effectively, train, assess, motivate, coach, and evaluate associates in all areas of job duties using established methods and standards.Ensure rapid, accurate movement and processing of product using established Standard Work InstructionsOrganize and prioritize daily work orders and staffing needs to meet production goals.Responsible for accuracy/quality of work for all assigned regular & temporary associates.Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other Warehouse Supervisors, DC Operations Management, Customer Service, Order Management and Transportation Conduct daily huddle meetings to communicate important daily events & priorities.Assist with the coordination of associate training/meetings for subjects such as safety, human resources, new process orientation, and other subjects as conditions necessitate.Enforce policies/procedures and safety regulations, providing appropriate constructive & positive consequences to team for managing safe working behaviors.Ensure all administrative system processes, supporting inbound, outbound, order management, carrier communications and reporting functions are executed daily.Conduct corrective action meetings regarding job performance, attendance, and behavior with associates, in compliance with company policies and procedures, including the separation process when direct reports are to be separated from employment.Maintain daily reports/paperwork, such as time and production records.Work on special projects as needed.A willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays required during peak times of the business.

What You’ll Bring

High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred; will consider experience in lieu of degree.Min 3 years of related experience required.Strong Functional SAP WM experience a strong plus and preferred.Willingness to work different schedules, if necessary, inclusive of periodic weekends, long shifts, and even Holidays when the business is in Peak Season(s).Progressive leader and change manager.Has been through a warehouse or DC transformation and immediately works to develop a culture of accountability for associates.Strong verbal and written communication skillsExpected to provide excellent customer service, be innovative, and maintain a high level of integrity.Must be self-driven and able to multi-task.Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and critical thinking skillsStrong leadership skills with the desire to continue learning.Ability to function well in a highly stressful and fast-paced environment.Proven ability to analyze data to identify opportunities, dive into root cause and assist in developing counter measures.Lean Six Sigma knowledge (Preferred)
