Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all the daily receiving activities for APUSA. The Receiving Supervisor must ensure that all the appropriate documentation has been provided to APUSA and submit the Pre-alert documents to broker to expedite receipt of incoming product through customs and the FDA. The position is also required to work closely with Quality Control to make sure that the process flows smoothly from receiving the product until it becomes available product for distribution. Responsibilities People management responsibilities include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems. Schedule is from 8 am to 5:30 pm daily, overtime as required. Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including; Filling and shipping customer orders, Satisfying internal shipping requirements (Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, etc.), ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming materials and routing to appropriate area or personnel, filling work orders for maintenance. Ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and reconciliation activities. Ensuring the dispensing of the Raw material and other components for manufacturing, filling and packing of each formulation for each line. Communicating with brokers for timely FDA release of materials. Measuring and reporting effectiveness of the department activities. Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations. Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency and performance of department. Continuous improve warehouse operations. Deviation writing as required for warehouse incidents. Administrative duties as related to warehouse functions. Handling return of materials to vendor, as needed. SOP revision, changes and updates for warehouse SOP’s as required. Qualifications - Skills & Requirements Oracle ERP experience is required. Experience with warehouse receiving and shipping activities. Ability to follow written instructions precisely and perform basic math calculations. Understanding/ knowledge of cGMP, safety criteria or the ability to lean. Computer knowledge (MS office and Adobe). Forklift certification required. Education & Experience Assciates Degree/Bachlors At least 3 years of warehouse experience in pharmaceutical industry. Compensation Min USD $65,000.00/Yr. Max USD $80,000.00/Yr. Physical Requirements WAREHOUSE OR PRODUCTION POSITION – While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside Medium work Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
