Warehouse Supervisor
**Job Summary:** Join our team as a **Bilingual Warehouse Supervisor,** where you will play a key leadership role in driving daily warehouse operations. You will oversee shipping, receiving, inventory management, labor planning, and space management while leading a team focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will foster a positive and accountable work environment, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as company policies and legal requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Supervision:** -Directly supervise hourly warehouse employees in material management, equipment issues, truck loading, housekeeping, cycle counting, and inventory management. Lead shift safety meetings to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and health policies. + **Performance Management:** -Communicate and document employee expectations, assess performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities. Administer disciplinary actions as necessary and assist in the hiring process for hourly employees. + **Training Oversight:** -Ensure warehouse employees receive adequate training before operating forklifts and other motorized equipment, following standard operating procedures and work instructions. + **Inventory Management:** -Understand and perform cycle count activities, ensuring accurate inventory maintenance and shipping documents, prioritizing first-in, first-out (FIFO). + **Communication:** -Maintain solid communication between truck drivers and warehouse employees at all times. + **Root-Cause Analysis:** -Assist in performing root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable countermeasures for losses related to warehouse activities. + **Workplace Organization:** -Maintain workplace organization and good housekeeping (5S) by holding employees accountable for their assigned work areas. Ensure warehouse lighting infrastructure is operational for efficiency and safety. + **Timekeeping Management:** -Review and approve employee time in the UKG timekeeping system, ensuring accurate payment in accordance with site pay policies or collective bargaining agreements. + **Additional Duties:** -Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. + Preferred: 2-year degree (equivalent experience may be considered). + Language Proficiency: Bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. + 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. + General understanding of ISO methodology (ISO 9001, 14001, & OHSAS 18001) is required. + Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Six Sigma is a plus. + Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with UKG and SAP systems is preferred. + Strong analytical skills to evaluate information and choose the best solutions.
