A. Strategic Execution
· Support the implementation of the factory’s strategic goals by translating them into clear daily priorities and operational plans.
· Identify improvement opportunities in line with site objectives and escalate insights to management for broader decision-making.
· Contribute to resource planning discussions to ensure alignment with production targets and long-term demand forecasts.
B. Operational Delivery
· Oversee daily production activities to ensure output, quality, labour efficiency, and delivery KPIs are met.
· Deliver effective maintenance and monitoring of production KPIs: safety, quality, operational equipment effectiveness (Safety, Delivery, Quality, Efficiency).
· Develop and oversee all workforce and operational scheduling (e.g., training and management communication sessions) to ensure effective delivery of KPIs and adherence to Resmed procedures and standards.
· Utilise data dashboards and reports to monitor team performance and drive timely corrective actions.
· Maintain accurate records for time, attendance, materials, and production progress.
· Maintain a strong presence on the shopfloor and stay closely connected to daily operations.
C. Safety & Compliance
· Champion a safety-first culture and ensure team compliance with OH&S policies.
· Conduct routine safety briefings and audits; report and investigate incidents promptly.
· Compliance to ResMed’s Quality, OH&S and GMP policies, DHR requirements, procedures, regulatory procedures and work instructions.
D. People Management
· Lead by example and take full ownership of team performance, behaviours, and engagement.
· Coach and develop Team Leaders and Operators, supporting capability building and succession planning.
· Provide feedback through regular performance conversations and support team members' career progression.
· Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment.
· Guide and facilitate the Production Team Leaders to oversee the management of personnel issues for all shifts including:
i. Proficient management of Kronos time and attendance system
ii. Induction and assessment of new applicants
iii. Staff training, mentoring, maintenance of the workplace training systems
iv. Staff assessment and performance management
v. Leave and injury management, and coordination of suitable duties with the Health and Safety Team.
E. Continuous Improvement
· Lead and sustain Lean initiatives such as 6S, visual management, and waste reduction.
· Support problem-solving and root cause analysis to resolve quality and productivity issues.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in processes and systems.
· Perform other duties assigned as required.
Qualifications and Experience:Required
· 3–5 years of experience in a leadership role within an innovative, high-volume manufacturing team ( Proven experience in managing teams of 20+ members is preferred )
· Proven ability to lead frontline teams and meet operational KPIs
· Sound knowledge and experience working with LEAN, GMP, Quality and OH&S processes.
· Experience with HRIS and Time Attendance & Rostering management systems
· Sound computer skills, specifically MS Excel and MS Word, Oracle, and Objective.
Preferred
· Certificate or diploma in Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.
· Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.
· Familiarity with digital production systems, dashboards, and continuous improvement tools
· Previous experience working with HRIS Workday and Objective.
