Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor manages the daily work of warehouse team members, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory management responsibilities. The Supervisor is responsible for meeting or exceeding departmental safety, quality, and productivity goals. This role is critical to bridging the gap between company goals and team member expectations, and ensuring that our customers’ needs are met.
The regular schedule for this position is 7am - 4pm and will require one or both weekend days with two days off throughout the week.
Responsibilities
Directly supervise and motivate warehouse team members, including team leads, and effectively assign responsibilities to meet departmental goals
Hold the line. Uphold Rogue’s standards by clearly communicating expectations to team members and motivating them to follow processes and procedures at all times
Use Google spreadsheets, Rogue applications, and other MRP/ERP software to record, track, and analyze metrics
Deliver on-going training and coaching to help team members reach their highest potential
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Rogue products, policies and procedures
Use Workday to maintain team member timekeeping, training, performance management and other HR tasks
Troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions to improve operating efficiency
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a leadership role for shipping, receiving, or inventory management
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, or similar field preferred
Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Must be able to move up to 80lbs, and work from the Operations floor for extended periods (up to the entirety of your shift)
Must be familiar with and able to operate various PIT equipment (Forklift, Reach Truck, Electric Pallet Jack, etc)
Available to work overtime, including weekends and select holidays
Strong attention to detail required, and must be alert to quality issues
