In this position you will be responsible for receiving of parts and preparing inventory for shipment to the client. This position requires you to be always organized and safety conscious. **_*This position is based on-site at our Chula Vista, CA facility and will be part of the IAM Local 755._** **_2nd Shift hours are: 2:30pm – 11pm, Monday to Friday._** **_Hours are subject to change to 1st shift: 6:30am – 3pm Monday to Friday_** **What You Will Do:** + Train 1st shift hours up to 60 days + Pull parts that have been stored in a warehouse stored as inventory. + Cycle counting of inventory. + Opening of supplier product to be stored in a warehouse. + Box and prep customer orders for shipment. + Process, store, and send inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. + Load and unload orders from various carriers and freight forwarders. + Organize incoming deliveries. + Apply the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels. + Operate licensed lift trucks of any capacity. + Maintain good shop practices including safety and housekeeping. + This position stands for long periods of time. + You will be carrying loads up to 30 pounds. **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically HS diploma, GED with 4 years of relevant experience, is required. + Prior experience working in a warehouse. + Experience with safety practices and procedures. + Experience working with computers. **Qualifications We Prefer** + Able to follow verbal and written instructions. + Experience with forklift and operating a radio crane. + Able to work independently. + The ability to use SAP. **Learn More & Apply Now!** Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
