Our client, a leader in the distribution industry, is seeking a General Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a General Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the efficient flow of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Warehouse Associate

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range:

Shift: 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

What's the Job?

Receive, scan, pick, pack, audit, and ship merchandise to customers. Track all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure accountability in inventory. Verify orders and ensure accurate entry into the inventory management system. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all areas of the warehouse are well maintained and free of debris. Uphold quality standards set forth by warehouse management.

What's Needed?

Willingness to work a flexible shift. Able to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation. Capability to perform tasks that include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation. Able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred: High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
