The Night Warehouse Manager will be accountable for the safe, accurate, and efficient loading of all Beechwood delivery trucks.  Must manage and motivate a team of approximately 20 employees comprising of forklift operators & order selectors.  Primary objectives include lowering operating costs through decreased breakage, increased productivity, and zero loading errors. This is an overnight schedule with hours starting Sunday 7:30 PM  - 4 AM (Friday completion). 

Essential Job Functions:

Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision of staff in order selection and loading procedures Manpower and Equipment planning Ensure the proper upkeep of the warehouse Supervise and direct the movement of delivery assets in preparation for loading Inform management of equipment deficiencies Assist in loading delivery trucks Load invoicing through VIP software and file transmission to vendor partners Administer Voice Pick oversight of software and assigned hardware Ensure that accident / injury reports are filed promptly with adequate follow-up Familiarity with OSHA and Company SOP Additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a business or Supply Chain related major Excellent communication ability Experience in wholesale delivery and/or warehouse operations Knowledge of computer systems Managerial experience

Critical Physical Demands:

Sufficient manual dexterity to operate business equipment including, but not limited to, computer keyboard, telephone, adding machine and copier Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, pallet jack, scissor lift Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional basis Walking on hard surfaces on a frequent basis Two handed lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height on a regular basis
