Warehouse Orchestration - Operations Senior Manager (MAESTRO)
Job Location MANILA NET PARK OFFICE Job Description As the Warehouse Orchestration - MAESTRO operations manager you will be driving the definition and deployment of a comprehensive strategy for operating MAESTRO. MAESTRO is a warehouse orchestration application we are deploying globally across P&G sites: to achieve scale we need to rethink how we handle its technical stack, professionalize its operations, and develop a comprehensive operational support in collaboration with multiple vendors and in touch with internal partners. MAESTRO solution is tightly coupled to WMS systems (PrIME/RTCIS and the related Data Replica), TMS (TMS and TMS replica), SAP data via Real-Time Data Service platform and iSara. As the solution is on its early stages, your key responsibility will be to establish a well-rounded operational model from the ground, in line with PrIME/RTCIS operational models, identifying the key partners and success criteria, establishing new third party connections and contractual agreements. On top of the SOM governance role we are integrating Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) into the role which will add additional responsibilities on Observability and monitoring which includes identifying the most appropriate monitoring tools (like Splunk and Spyglass) and how to use them to identify issues, root causes and drive continuous improvements in the monitoring area. Key Responsibilities: + Resolve complex problems, build and improve procedures, and facilitate communication + Define the target state of service operations for MAESTRO, define and lead the transformation plan + Engage internal and external partners to establish the operations strategy, drive definition of SLAs and OLAs and leads the execution + Assess opportunities, gaps and bottlenecks in the current model, and by analyzing issues and identifying root causes is able to establish and continuously improve the service operations model + Drive the definition of observability initiatives and self-healing capabilities, using industry-leading tools and technologies + Work closely with the application and platform team to build the roadmap of changes in a joint plan to professionalize MAESTRO and build resiliency + Develop a standard checklist and process for transitioning initiatives to operations (roles and responsibilities, success criteria, processes) + Contribute in designing, maintaining, and planning regular testing of application continuity processes, including disaster recovery + Assess and improve the existing process to govern and coordinate changes, upgrades, and regular maintenance tasks, ensuring system stability and optimized performance. + Drive visibility of cost components and their association to pricing model Job Qualifications Job Qualifications + Strong and assertive communication skills – not afraid of asking (the right) questions, able to communicate complex issues and solutions in a way that can drive decisions with technical and business partners. + Previous Service Operations experience with WMS-PrIME (and ideally WMS-RTCIS, and iDecide), to be able of establishing a model and organization that can integrate well with WMS operations + Capable to rapidly learn the technical background of MAESTRO application, its infrastructure and components. As well as the dependencies to PrIME, RTCIS and iDecide applications and technical stack + Attention to detail and objective oriented – to successfully lead through incidents resolution and escalation process + Collaboration – work among different organizations in a multi-vendor environment, ensuring that all parties work along by leading and setting the right expectations. + Data savvy – capable to structure data from incidents into information and recommend action plans for improvements + Documentation - Understanding of the importance of high quality documentation and procedures, and willingness to complement hands on with robust documentation + IT Security & Risk - In touch with modern IT security risks and principles As part of this role you can expect to gain a deep understanding of physical distribution processes, at the edge between warehousing and transportation, further your knowledge of the warehousing infrastructure (site datacenter, MAESTRO and its mobile app, gatehouse management with OT components) and first-hand influence the future operational strategy of the service.
