**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a student to join our team In Mississauga, for the summer, in a warehouse operator role. _At Cummins, we uphold the highest safety standards to ensure a secure working environment for all employees._ **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Under direct or close supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. + Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. + Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. + Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:** **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** + Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program (College or University)This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience:** + Minimal experience required. + Ability to read and sort parts. + Computer savvy. + Physically fit-able to lift up to 50 lbs. + Warehouse experience is an asset. **About the role:** + Union environment + Working hours are Monday-Friday and **are flexible (** 7am-330pm,8am-430pm or 9am-530pm) + The position is to start early June 2025 until the end of summer. **Compensation and Benefits** Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
