**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a student to join our team In Edmonton, for the summer, in a warehouse operator role. **_At Cummins, we uphold the highest safety standards to ensure a secure working environment for all employees._** If you have great organizational skills and pay attention to details-you could be part of our team for this summer! **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Under direct or close supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. + Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. + Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. + Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:** **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** + High school education completed + Must be enrolled full time in a school program for the coming Fall of 2025This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience:** + Minimal or no work experience required. + Basic computer skills is an asset + Parts experience or warehouse experience is an asset **About the role:** + Union environment + Working hours are Monday-Friday **730am to 4pm OR 930am to 6pm** + Position to start June 16, 2025 **Compensation and Benefits** Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
