In this hands-on role, you'll ensure raw materials and packaging are available, approved, and ready—keeping production flowing smoothly and efficiently.
About The Role
The Store Person is responsible for maintaining an organized yard and production floor, ensuring that all required raw materials and packaging are available to support day-to-day production. This role works closely with the Production Manager, Blenders, and Packers to ensure timely material flow and efficient operations.
Key responsibilities include supporting the Shift Team Leader with packaging needs, performing daily cycle counts, managing warehouse space, and assisting with IBC washing. The Store Person must also ensure that all raw materials and packaging are received, approved (green sticker applied), and ready before being moved to the production floor.
Key responsibilities:
Develop a strong understanding of all raw materials and packaging used in the production department.Work closely with the Production Manager and Shift Leaders to ensure timely delivery of materials in line with the production schedule.Support production efficiency by ensuring all required raw materials and packaging are readily available to Blenders and Fillers.Collaborate with key stakeholders—including the Shift Team Leader, Quality Manager, Safety Representative, and Blenders—to facilitate smooth, efficient, and safe production operations.About you:
Demonstrates a strong commitment to safe work practices and can proactively identify and report hazards.Self-motivated with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks independently.Proven capacity to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.Effective verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently across departments.High level of self-management and accountability.Understanding of key production performance measures, such as efficiency, backlog management, and IFOT (In Full On Time).Experience in people management and coaching is desirableAbout Solenis:
