As a Lidl D&R Warehouse Operative, you’ll make sure our stores receive the right stock when they need it. From picking products to helping out in team tasks like checking stock, you’ll roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You’ll work through your orders independently to help get our 2,000-plus products into the hands of happy customers, taking pride in the fact that without you, our shelves would be empty.

In return, we’ll give you a competitive salary based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside Lidl.

What you'll do Checking vehicles into the Recycling Area.Processing of various types of Food Waste from the sales / store team.Processing Card / Plastic materials in an efficient manner.Sorting / collecting all waste and recyclables from fixed stations throughout the warehouse. Liaise with external contractors to ensure recycling collections are processed in a timely manner.Liaising with the Warehouse to ensure waste is returned and processed in an efficient manner.Report any damaged items to your manager.Take responsibility for working through your orders independently.Help out in any team tasks, such as cleaning equipment and checking stock. Covering the night shift. What you'll need Experience working in a fast-paced environmentThe drive to meet your goals and targetsExcellent attention to detail when working quicklySelf-motivation to work hard and make a real differenceIdeally, previous experience working night shiftsWhat you'll receive 30-35 days’ annual holiday (pro rata)10% in-store discountEnhanced family leaveContributory pension schemeOngoing trainingPlus more of the perks you deserve
