Summary
Moffitt Research Institute is recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Specialist I in the Clinical Trials Laboratory Core in Tampa, FL.
Position Highlights:
The Warehouse Operations Specialist 1 of the Clinical Trials Laboratory Core is responsible for the essential clinical trial supply and inventory control functions. The position is responsible for maintaining the daily warehouse environment, including but not limited to, ordering supply, stocking shelves, delivering and issuing supply to the lab. The Specialist will normally receive daily instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new assignments in regards to warehouse support of protocol supply. The Specialist will be familiar with and follow established procedures and supported protocols within the core while under supervision. This position requires good competence, skill and independent judgment. This position will interact with disease program staff, shared resources staff, study sponsors, laboratory vendors, and contracting research organizations. This position is part of the Warehouse Operations Specialist pathway.

Responsibilities:
Manage Inventory Control via current solutions in place. Facilitate Physical Stock and Distribution of kits and other clinical trial supplies. Provide safe and timely transportation of supply (and possibly specimens) and/or other routine material exchanges between campuses. Track progress of incoming new and amendment supply and communicates with multiple key players. Generate, maintain and update documents related to the Warehouse and Inventory Control environment. Attend team meetings and/or conference calls. Generate Inventory Reports and provide these and other key communications related to supply chain to internal and external customers.
Credential/Qualifications
Minimum HS diploma with 2 years of experience in supply chain and/or laboratory vendor logistics related field OR Associate's Degree with 1 year of experience is required. Hands-on experience in an inventory control related supply chain environment that utilizes software tools for maintaining stock is preferred.
