Requirements Responsible for managing or performing work associated with converting raw materials and components into finished goods including: • General production manufacturing work • Assembling finished components or parts into finished products • Process manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients including mechanical processing (e.g., mixing, grinding, separating, filtering, etc.) and chemical processing (altering the chemical properties of materials through chemical reactions and changing temperature, pressure, etc.) • Setting up and operating machine tools to convert materials into parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies • Surface finishing of parts, components, and assembled items including washing/painting/plating/anti-corrosion coating, hardening, polishing/engraving/etching, etc. • Packaging materials or finished goods into containers for the purpose of protection, display, and handling

JOB SUMMARY

The Menu Services Operations Lead provides leadership by managing a team of operational support personnel and duties associated with team leadership including but not limited to overseeing operations, budget considerations, marketing, and reporting and analytics. The position will oversee a team of 2-5 direct reports and may be responsible for additional dedicated resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for managing the work and productivity of the team of operation support personnel for the menu services organizationResponsible for the creation and presentation of reporting and analytics on all project activity for the menu services teamLead development of marketing efforts including but not limited to organization micro-site, blog, newsletters, and other marketing effortsResponsible for maintaining a productive relationship with Sysco menu services leadership teamIdentify improvement opportunities to continuously improve team performanceOversee and maintain menu services live chat/support functionDevelop, maintain, and deliver training to the menu services teamResponsible for maintaining OnDemand tool, and rolling out new functionality to team and field


Education
Bachelor’s degree required

Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Marketing and/or Management in a corporate environment along with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Understanding of how to gather market intelligence and insightsMethodical, hands-on, detail-oriented approach to problem-solvingExcellent written and oral communication skills.
