What We Are Looking For:We are seeking an Operations Manager who will be responsible for leading all aspects of daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, freight coordination, and facility maintenance. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and efficient environment while ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who can support operational excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Fort Worth, TX.

What You Will Do:Oversee all aspects of daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, freight coordination, and facility maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and timely operations.Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff while promoting high morale and operational effectiveness.Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (e.g., Ruan) to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.Drive continuous improvement by applying 80/20 principles and implementing operational strategies to increase productivity and eliminate inefficiencies.Champion a proactive safety culture by supporting regulatory compliance (OSHA, HazMat, SDS), conducting safety training, inspections, and incident investigations.Support inventory accuracy and integrity through process adherence, discrepancy resolution, and best practice implementation.Maintain a clean, organized, and secure facility through effective housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and team involvement.Negotiate with vendors and service providers to optimize cost savings, efficiency, and service levels.Oversee compliance with ISO standards, inventory controls, and all applicable operational procedures.Manage HR functions and assist with branch-level accounting tasks, including monitoring expenses.Enhance internal and external customer service through strategic improvements and operational excellence initiatives.Perform additional duties as needed in support of team and business objectives.What You’ll Bring to the Role:5+ years of experience leading warehouse or manufacturing operations, ideally within the metals industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills, with a proven ability to solve problems and make effective decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Lean principles and 5S methodology.
Working knowledge of OSHA standards and a demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
College-level coursework or equivalent experience preferred.
