Site Name: Belgium-Wavre Posted Date: Aug 5 2025 Job purpose: Responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a manufacturing environment – Includes warehousing, storage, movement, supply and shipping of materials and products Directs and co-ordinate merchandise/material handling within a distribution centre/depot Your responsibilities: Manage, coordinate and plan warehouse storage, distribution, inventory and shipping of products and materials to meet productivity, efficiency and budget goals. Responsible for 6 different storage sites (Wavre/Rixensart/Gallyker/Essers/Friagra/Gastuche), total storage capacities = 50000 palets (3 temperatures range : ambient, 2-8°C and - 25°C), 15000 receipt/year, 190000 internal movements/year, 672000 final shipping boxes prepare/year. Responsible for maintaining safe and efficient warehouse conditions including overseeing the equipment and clarcks fleet. Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the operations. Develop solutions to enhance efficiency. Coordinate and implement solutions from process solution analysis and general value stream projects. Supervise, motivate and encourage teams of technicians and workers to achieve maximum productivity. Has authority for hiring, termination, discipline and performance decision. Assist staff to resolve complex or out policy operations problems. Coordinate staffing levels, productions operations and developments with the others BU managers. Direct staff in the development, analysis and preparation of reports and the use of KPI. Schedule and conduct meetings. Communicate with staff and Value stream director on warehouse operations. Coordinate specific projects of improvement to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity, security. Why you?
