Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing all daily warehouse and shipping operations, and continuously improving service to internal and external customers. Maintain inventory control appropriate to support uninterrupted production and maintain superior customer service levels.SHIFT*

Five or more years’ experience in warehouse management, inventory control or logistics.High School diploma or GED requiredMinimum 3- 5 years’ experience managing direct reportsKnowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety rules.Preferred experience with warehousing technology systems such as WMS, Barcode systems, RFID, MRP, SAP. etc.Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office suite of products, (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Must be able to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and able to be certified by HWP.Must be able to meet requirements to be a powered industrial truck trainer and be able to certify employees.Proven project management skills involving multiple simultaneous projects, with attention to detail and project completion.Strong communication skills.Must possess excellent decision making and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work in a team environmentSelf-motivated individual with demonstrated initiative to improve processesRESPONSIBILITIES
Management and supervision of direct reports. Including but not limited to: hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, team building, performance reviews and performance measurement, terminations, resolution of employee issues.Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.Design and implement policies and procedures to support the organization’s customer service and cost strategies.Streamline communications and interactions with production, customer service, quality and supply chain.Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling data storage system.Continuously improve delivery accuracy, contain costs, and maintain the quality of the product.Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting work areas and equipment, coordinating with the maintenance team for preventative maintenance repairs.Participate in the product design process to ensure that items will be able to ship well.Review logistic suppliers and negotiate contracts for optimizing cost and serviceImplement performance standards and continuous improvement strategiesBudget labor and other warehouse/shipping expensesOther duties as assignedMust be able to successfully pass all job-related tests and certifications required for working in a cGMP, quality environment including but not limited to: inspections and GMP requirements to perform essential functions of the job.
