Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the supervision and efficient management of all operations related to the company´s warehouse. This includes receiving, storage, distribution and inventory control of products or materials. The main objective is to ensure that the warehouse functions optimally, maintaining high standards of organization, safety and efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities + Provide direction regarding receiving, material movement, picking, packing, inventory control, training, hiring, discipline, employee development, and safety in accordance with Milwaukee policies/procedures. + Ensure that safety regulations are met in the warehouse and that applicable guidelines and regulations are followed. In addition, ensure that required compliance and documentation standards are met. + Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the efficient distribution of products to internal and external customers, including scheduling delivery routes and tracking delivery times. + Supervise and lead team of warehouse employees, assigning tasks, setting goals, and providing training and development as needed. + Conduct periodic inventory audits, maintain accurate records and utilize inventory management systems to ensure product availability when needed, minimizing losses due to obsolescence or damage. + Lead the receiving of products or materials, ensuring verification of product quantity and quality. Oversee proper storage, kitting and assortment to lines. + Facilitate effective communication within the warehouse team and with other departments, ensuring proper alignment of objectives and expectations. + Identify opportunities for improvement in warehouse processes and propose solutions to increase efficiency, reduce costs and minimize errors. + Evaluate employee performance, recommend appropriate disciplinary actions, recommends/maintains adequate staffing levels to respond to fluctuating workloads, and prepares Performance Reviews. + Submit shift updates/reports as defined, at the beginning, mid, and end of shift. Education and Experience Requirements + Preferred +7 years distribution experience leading multiple Warehouse functions with progressive people leadership experience in large international organizations. + Self-starter with initiative. Must be able to execute tasks with minimal direct supervision. + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and changing priorities simultaneously. + Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated computer literacy. + Experience with Oracle and ERP technologies.
