We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Lead Intercompany Warehouse Associate to join our team. This pivotal role is essential in overseeing the efficient movement and storage of materials between company locations, ensuring seamless operations and collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates to achieve daily operational goals.Process Management: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and recording of incoming materials from intercompany transfers.Organization: Ensure materials are organized and stored in designated warehouse locations efficiently.Coordination: Prepare materials for outgoing transfers to other company locations, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and lead regular stock counts.Safety and Efficiency: Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring team compliance.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments to facilitate timely and accurate transfers.Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues, reporting to the warehouse supervisor as necessary.Innovation: Continuously seek opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency. Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with leadership responsibilities preferred.Certification: Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy with the ability to learn inventory management software.Communication: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work as part of a team.Physical Capability: Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.Flexibility: Willingness to work the day shift and overtime as required.
