This position assists the Supervisor and Manager with logistics activities at the Apopka Logistics Center, supporting both CCNA and Flavor Manufacturing. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the warehouse operation which includes scheduling, inventory management, shipping and receiving. Additional activities include preparing shipments to multiple countries, multiple modes of shipments (air, ground, ocean), and fulfillment of raw materials for manufacturing. The Warehouse Lead will assist the Supervisor with training other associates on all ISO processes related to our manufacturing facility. Candidate should have working knowledge of GMP practices and have experience with defined problem-solving methodologies. Experience with SAP, bar code scanning, and must be certified in handling hazardous materials. Candidate will be required to monitor operations on off shifts when directed by his/her manager.
What You’ll Do for Us
Inspect facility (e.g., production, warehouse, service/installation) to assure adherence to safety and operating policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) using Company policies and procedures.Receive and document inbound materials and finished products for production and/or inventory accuracy using designated receiving procedures.Perform final quality check/inspection for accuracy and visible damage prior to shipment to customer.Maintain the plant's manufacturing equipment in sanitary condition (e.g., clean and sanitize tanks and pipe routings, maintain conveyor belts, hook up and unload raw material delivery tankers, clean work areas) according to Company GMP policies and procedures in order to assure the quality of the manufactured product.Implement cycle counting and/or annual physical inventories using inventory system reports, inventory location software and count sheets in order to ensure inventory accuracy.Ability to perform all warehouse duties, including forklift operations, palletizing product, banding material, loading/unloading trucks, labeling product, etc.Develops new insights into solutions that result in organizational improvements; promotes a work environment that fosters creative thinking, innovation and rational risk-taking.Optimize inventory levels using statistical models to design min/max/reorder levels.Responsible for accurately approving and managing employee timesheets via e-time, vacation schedules, and all other attendance requirements. Seeks to meet critical objectives while considering the impact of those decisions and activities on the ability to achieve long-term goals.All other job requirements as assigned.Qualification & Requirements
High School, GED, plus equivalent Supervision work experienceAt least 7 years related work experienceKnowledge of distributor/distribution policies and procedures. Ability to understand costs/benefits of distributors and common carriers, third party capabilities, distribution structures to support customer order processes, and product availability.Knowledge of cost forecasting processes and inputs to determine the impact to KO and/or bottlers. Knowledge of key elements such as raw material costs, economic principles, supplier/processing costs and market conditions.Knowledge of asset management procedures, policies and information used to optimize inventory levels and/or fill rates (e.g., balance inventory levels against inventory carrying costs).Knowledge of supplier fulfillment capabilities to meet customer and internal requirements. Ability to build system capability and capacity to ensure service is provided effectively, timely and efficientlyKnowledge of warehouse/manufacturing layout or design elements (e.g., product flow, storage requirements) necessary for effective manufacturing or warehousing.Focuses on the critical few objectives that add the most value and channels own and others' energy to consistently deliver results that meet or exceed expectations.Relentlessly seeks, shares and adopts ideas and best practices in and outside the Company and embraces change introduced by others.Builds and maintains relationships that motivate, guide, and/or reinforce the performance of others toward goal accomplishments. $56,700 - $76,700Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
