Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Warehouse Lead-2nd Shift at our Fontana, CA location! The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 per hour. The core hours are 4:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. **Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The Lead will report directly to the Supervisor and play a key role in executing departmental plans and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. **In this function, you will:** • Lead and coordinate daily operations in the receiving areas to ensure efficient workflow, quality output, and including shipping activities with order fulfillment. • Monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and support to drive continuous improvement. • Make independent decisions to resolve operational issues in the absence of direct supervision. • Distribute workloads effectively to minimize downtime and ensure productivity. • Partner with supervisors to develop and implement daily operational plans. • Promote and uphold 5S standards and safety protocols throughout the facility. • Serve as a point of contact for associate concerns, escalating issues as needed. • Conduct routine checks and implement consistent processes to ensure operational stability. • Assist with product verification and provide on-the-spot support to team members. • Utilize WMS console functions to analyze data and report on operational progress. • Must be available to work additional hours, including overtime on weekdays and weekends, as required by business needs. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** • High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution. • Must have a Minimum of two years of experience in a distribution center/warehouse environment. • Must have a Minimum of one year of experience operating material handling equipment, including a cherry picker. • Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Fontana, CA will be considered. Active-duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. **Preferred Qualifications:** • Minimum of three years of experience in a distribution center/warehouse environment. • Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management (WMS) console systems. • Knowledge of SAP and 5S methodology. • Prior Yard Hostler certification. • Prior PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.). **Position Success Criteria:** • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. \#IND123 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
