Essential Responsibilities:
Ensuring robust inventory management processes are in place and followed to drive Warehouse Inventory Excellence.Lead the global implementation and ongoing improvement of core warehouse workflows, including cycle counting, 2-bin replenishment, Material Review Board (MRB) processes, Supplier Managed Inventory (SMI), receiving, and put-away.Establish and maintain global SOPs for inventory control, handling, and storage standards.Drive the adoption of standardized work practices across Aero Alliance Joint Venture (AAJV) warehouses.Lead cross-functional projects involving Planning, Purchasing, to improve materials flow and data accuracy between Shops, Planning and Warehouse & LogisticsAct as a subject matter expert (SME) in digital transformation initiatives impacting warehouse and inventory systems.Support returns and credit processes, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with quality and procurement teams.Act as a liaison between Global Supply Chain functions and global warehouse team.Monitor and report progress against goals and identify root causes for any deviations.Have a good understanding of the financial processes and work closely together with Finance on inventory valuation and potential financial impact.Work with Warehouse Managers for AAJV sites to make sure we have resources available to meet shop need.Monitor and optimize key performance indicators such as inventory accuracy, cycle count compliance, order fulfillment rate, receiving and put-away efficiency, and standardization of 2-bin systems.Partner with 3rd Party Logistics Providers and site warehouse managers to lead Daily Management System (DMS) activities and sustainment.Identify root causes for performance gaps and implement corrective actions using data analytics and lean tools.Monitor and optimize key performance indicators such as inventory accuracy, cycle count compliance, order fulfillment rate, receiving and put-away efficiency, and standardization of 2-bin systems.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.At least 5-7 years of experience in a supply chain or operations-related field, with a focus on order management and fulfillment. Experience in aerospace or aviation manufacturing is preferred.Demonstrated experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and process optimization.Demonstrated expertise in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud), warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory control processes, with a strong track record of ensuring system accuracy and supporting effective materials handling and supply chain operations.Desired Characteristics:
