The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm. Responsibilities SUMMARY: This position supports the production/manufacturing process. MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete Forklift Safety Training Class Operate all equipment in a safe manner an utilize available safety equipment Comply with established GMP’s and safety regulations Inspect forklifts at beginning of shift to ensure that equipment is operating safely Maintain order and cleanliness of warehouse Participate in plant wide sanitation clean-ups Participate in physical inventories Communicate and cooperate with all teams within the plant in a friendly, professional manner to facilitate an efficient plant and positive work environment Any other duties assigned by a Coordinator or a Manager Material Supply: Know how to utilize Locator System to find required packaging material and update system for inventory pulls and returns Follow FIFO inventory procedure Deliver correct packaging material to pack lines in a timely manner Return unused packaging material to warehouse Remove empty pallets from packaging area Load by-product tubs onto by-product truck Transport hand-stacked items to warehouse and record production on appropriate form Receiving: Have working knowledge of mechanical loading docks Verify item identification and quantity prior to signing bills Put received material in warehouse locations including storage racks Update locator system with appropriate information Unload trucks per scheduled delivery times Pallet exchange with participating vendors Loading: Have working knowledge of mechanical loading docks Have working knowledge of bar coding system and RF scanners Inspect condition of trailers, sweep if needed Pick pallets from conveyor and load into appropriate truck Utilize correct loading patters to minimize in transit damage Loading – Continued: Print bills of lading for completed loads Affix “seal” to trailer door Provide driver with appropriate documentation Alvey/Conveyor Have working knowledge of Alvey palletizers Have working knowledge of conveyor system Have working knowledge of labeling equipment Have working knowledge of stretch wrappers Have working knowledge of stackers Have working knowledge of Alvey system monitor Assign items to palletizers in a manner to ensure smooth product flow Maintain empty pallet supply Record damaged product on appropriate form DIMENSIONS: Non-Supervisory role MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY PERFORM MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Other Skills and Abilities: Must be able to operate desk calculator. Must be able to operate computer barcode system.
