The Brick is actively seeking to expand our distribution team. As Warehouse Equipment Operator you will be reporting to the Distribution Manager. The starting wage for this job is $18.25 with shift premium. Negotiable based on previous experience.

Responsibilities Operate power and non-powered material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Other material handling equipment may be considered.Loading and unloading trucksPicking and put-away of all product typesMaintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructionsConduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures Qualifications Equipment operator experience on order picker is required. Experience on clamp truck is an asset. Other Material Handling Equipment experience will be considered. Ability to prepare customer orders by operating material handling equipment to lift and carry product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis (loading  sofas, etc.); some manual lifting is required to adjust the loads.Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniquesAble to meet deadlinesFlexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends, as requiredAbility to pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick Why The Brick?
