Warehouse Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift Utility

Summary/Objective

This position will require a knowledge of both Shipping & Receiving processes. Flexibility in job assignments as well as the versatility to work both equally well. In addition, the skill to operate Lift Equipment, RF units, and physical skills to lift or push / pull substantial product weight.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00pm - 4:30am (Saturdays as needed)

Job Responsibilities            

Pick up product from Staging Area and off load onto Rack Shelving units, Floor locations, or Stack RacksWhen placing product accurately scan all merchandise utilizing RF gunPick up product from Rack Shelving Units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks and off load onto Dock / Bay areaWhen placing product accurately scan all merchandise utilizing RF gunMaintain a clean and safe working environmentEnsure full compliance of all safety programs both while operating and not operating material handling equipmentAll other duties as assigned

Competencies

Technical Knowledge of WMSExperience using RF units & processesAccurate movement of product through use of product scanningAbility to drive Industrial Lift Equipment – Order Picker (comfortable with Height / Elevation)Ability to lift / move productAbility to work independently

Work Environment

Fast paced work environment in a light industrial setting

Physical Demands

High degree of physical activity to include: Significant lifting, Standing, Walking is required

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent work experienceMust be able to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the department including weekendsMust be able to pass lift assessment with a push pull requirement of 250 lbsMust be able to operate an electric lift, forklift, and tuggerMust be able to operate an RF gunAbility to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
