Sanitation Associate – Freezer Environment
Maintain high sanitation standards throughout our freezer and warehouse facilities, following all regulatory and company safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and sanitize freezer areas, warehouse floors, stairways, hallways, breakrooms, and office spaces
Remove ice buildup, debris, and damaged pallets from freezer zones
Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum as needed across all areas, including cold storage
Ensure the grounds are kept clean and free of trash or debris
Perform general upkeep and basic maintenance throughout the facility, with an emphasis on freezer environments
Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are properly maintained and stored, conducting regular inventory checks as needed
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate floor cleaning equipment, pallet jacks, and other machinery as required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
Comfortable working in freezer temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C, wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic warehouse tools
Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs./9 kg; heavier lifting may be required based on site needs
Basic math and reading skills; ability to follow instructions in the country’s official language
Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals safely
Flexible to work varying schedules and shifts, including weekends as needed
Must be able to work in environments with varying noise levels
