Incumbents of the Warehouse Counter position have averaged $79,000/year (this figure does include bonuses)

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Kankakee is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Warehouse Receiving/Counter.  Warehouse Receiving/Counter personnel responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working safely, receiving, shipping, stocking and inventory control of warehouse items, cycle counting, assisting delivery personnel, contractors and teammates in locating needed parts and supplies, operating mobile equipment, processing computer transactions, housekeeping, and a variety of other tasks related to the successful operation of the Warehouse.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ years of warehouse experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an MRO warehouse

• Knowledge and proficiency with Oracle EBS

• Prior experience driving forklifts
