The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient and accurate handling of materials, storage and distribution of goods, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. The Warehouse Coordinator will collaborate and provide updates and information to the Warehouse Management team, Logistics, Planning, Customer Service, and the Sales Teams. Serves as first level of contact for any work order/sales order related issue within department; troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with processes and provide updates/info accordingly.Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.Ensure smooth shift hand offs/updates by effectively communicating with Warehouse Chargehands/Leads, Supervisors, and Warehouse Manager.Monitor order fulfillment processes, ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and labeling.Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Planning and Logistics Teams to resolve issues related to shipments and internal work orders.Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse activities/updates, scheduling details, and shipment logs.Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and shipped on time to meet customer expectations.Address and resolve issues related to incorrect or delayed shipments, coordinating with the Customer Service/Sales Teams as necessary.Required Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required. A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration is a plus.
Skills and Experience:
3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a team lead/planning capacityExperience in a manufacturing environment is a plusFamiliarity with SAP (or comparable ERP system) and intermediate/advanced computer skills preferredProficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) a plusStrong communication and cross functional/collaboration skillsExcellent problem-solving skills with ability to make decisions independentlyStrong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work within UPS Worldship, Fedex, DHL, Pitney-Bowes shipping software (or similar) Familiar with general shipping procedures, both domestically and international (both electronic and hard copy)Ability to occasionally carry up to 25lbs. without the use of mechanical lifting devicesAbility to work with external vendorsNote: This Job Description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
