Position Summary:
As a Driver Check-In Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our drivers are checked-in accurately and all returned products are processed accordingly. Under direct supervision, compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies. Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and posts totals to inventory / property records. Verifies record computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Position Responsibilities:Maintain an accurate physical inventory count and records.Handle salvage product.Check for outdated product.Checks in Delivery DriversInspects and unloads all returning trailersVerifies returned goods and damaged productMakes decisions about the disposition of returned goodsRe-enters goods into inventoryChecks Delivery Driver route tickets, customer orders and prepare for operations.Maintains accurate records of returnsFiles invoices and other documents on a daily basisReceives Delivery Drivers’ receipts of the day’s customer deliveriesReceives appointments as neededPerforms other related duties as assigned.#CM-ALL
