Job Description:

Location: Shelbyville, Tennessee

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring Warehouse Associates in Shelbyville, TN! The Warehouse Utility – Order Puller is responsible for accurately reading order tickets, pulling products, and distributing them to packers. This role also includes general warehouse upkeep, such as breaking down boxes, sweeping, and maintaining a clean work environment. Employee may be asked to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret order tickets in English to accurately pull products.
Distribute pulled products to packers in a timely manner.
Break down boxes and dispose of packaging materials properly.
Sweep and clean work areas to maintain a safe and organized warehouse.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

Desired Background/Skills:

High School degree or GED required
Warehouse/Packaging experience preferred
Must have good attention to detail and quality
Good communication skills – written and verbal
Good computer skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be able to stand/walk while working in a production environment.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
Willing to work flexible hours and overtime with short notice
Works well under the pressure of deadlines
Must have flexibility to learn and use new technology
Excellent attendance record
