Description Hiring Warehouse Associates

We are currently looking for experienced Warehouse Associates at our client in Apopka, FL.

 

Shifts available:

(Sunday-Wednesday) : 5am-3:00pm – $18.00

(Sunday-Wednesday) 4:30pm-3:00am – $19.00

(Wednesday-Saturday) 5am-3:00pm – $18.00

(Wednesday-Saturday) 4:30pm-3:00am – $19.00

 

Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials. Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers. Ensure all scanning is completed correctly. Help train dock employees on new procedures. Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping. Perform picking and packing duties. Check for evidence of product or container damage Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location’s policies and procedures standards to include handling of materials within associated logical transactions Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required Participate in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area Performs other duties as assigned

 

Ability to fluently communicate and read in English

External Basic Qualifications:

Warehouse Experience Required

•Willing to work a flexible shift.

•Willing and able to stand at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.

•Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.

•Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

•High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center.

•At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment.

•At least 6 months experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning.

•At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory
