Job Description

A Warehouse Associate is responsible for the organization and storage of raw materials and completed products in a safe manner. This role requires understanding the entire warehouse process, from the receipt of goods to their shipment to the customer, and tracking this process within our information system. Additionally, this role includes receiving products from delivery.

ResponsibilitiesVerify that the quantity and quality of goods received match the receiving slip and report any discrepancies immediately.Safely offload and store goods in the appropriate location.Enter all goods received into the business system daily.Maintain inventory controls and manage the periodic inventory count in accordance with company policies and procedures.Ensure delivery of packages to the appropriate owner.Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.Deliver raw materials to the production floor from the warehouse as required.Build and maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with freight carriers and suppliers.Organize and clean the shipping and receiving areas as required.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Essential SkillsAbility to package materials appropriate to their shipping or storage methods.Working knowledge of raw materials, warehouse, and production scheduling.Strong forklift skills, including driving vehicles indoors and outdoors.Basic computer skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail.Ability to handle heavy loads.Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Possess a valid driver's license.Current forklift certification.Experience within the warehousing industry is preferred.Ability to drive Counterbalance – Standup and sit-down models is preferred.Flexibility in work hours/schedule.ERP knowledge is preferred.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
