Our client, a leader in the heavy industrial sector, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Portsmouth, VA

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour

Shift: 10 AM - 6:30 PM

What's the Job?

Perform warehouse operations including counting, sorting, and recording large, heavy-weight stock. Pick and pack orders accurately to ensure timely delivery. Assist with dock processing and receiving operations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or equivalent. No prior warehouse experience required, but some experience is preferred. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 45 lbs of weight. Willingness to stand and crouch for extended periods. Reliable transportation to work and availability for occasional overtime.
