Job Description

Compensation: $19.00/HR

Shift: First Shift (Mon - Fri)

Location: Suwanee, GA

This isn’t your ordinary warehouse job nor ordinary company. A Day in the Life: Process customer orders daily to meet their expectationsWork in one or more process paths; receiving, picking, packing, or shippingPackage and label shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation requirements for hazardous materialsHelp ensure inventory is stored properlyWork with your team to make sure everyone has a great experience working at Thermo Fisher Scientific

How will you get here?

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

1+ years of general warehouse experience preferredExperience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers) preferredExperience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) preferredExperience with computers and scanning equipment preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching) requiredAbility to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detailDesire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quicklyAbility to read and write in EnglishAbility to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs
