We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor supporting the Global Technical Services Team (onsite), a typical day will include:

Managing the warehouse and distribution functions to include internal and external customer service and requirements.

Promote and maintain safety protocols and ensure WH personnel follow safety rules according to established HSE regulations

Hire, train, coach, and lead WH associates by implementing robust development plans, including performance assessment

and training programs.

Monitor and report employee attendance and productivity, and actively participate in performance improvement activities

Ensure adequate resource allocation for on-time shipment and delivery of spare parts

Maintain accurate inventory levels in terms of quantity and location and ensure cycle counting of inventory as defined

Monitors and drives all Warehouse operations; track and report workload and processes execution to lead efficiency improvement

Develop operating budget and staffing levels based on forecasts resulting in proper staffing and manage operations within established budgets

Ensure adequate operating procedures are documented and implemented

Monitor and improve customer satisfaction levels

Manage and improve order fulfillment cycle process

Address all compliance issues and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed

Maintain collaborative relationships and lead to enhance communication between the Warehouse and other site functional teams

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+16yrs; M.S.+0 yrs) The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
