Warehouse Analyst - Weigh & Dispense - Lebanon API

Lilly is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for production of API molecules located in Lebanon, IN.  This facility is Lilly’s largest investment in manufacturing capacity and is intended to provide APIs for current and future products.  This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the leadership team for the startup of a greenfield manufacturing site, and the successful candidate will help to build the organization, the facility and the culture to enable a successful startup into GMP manufacturing operations. 

The Warehouse Weigh & Dispense Associate supports and manages aspects of the Lebanon API Plant 1 (LP1) warehouse and logistics operation. Acts as a subject matter expert and technical leader for warehouse weigh and dispense operations impacting the LP1 warehouse in accordance with current standard operating procedures and work instructions. Understands manufacturing processes, warehouse activities, and how to implement continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse team.

Responsibilities:

Work with a cross-functional team to deliver the Weigh and Dispense operation in the central warehouse building. This involves assisting with equipment fit and process design for splitting raw material quantities.

Interface with Global Facilities Design team to help drive delivery of the Warehouse Weigh & Dispense booths in accordance with the operational plan.

Drive digital systems integration through Tech @Lilly to achieve paperless environment

Create and maintain procedures, work instructions, and other necessary GMP documentation related to Warehouse processes.

Create and execute change controls related to Warehouse processes and materials management.

Understand SAP transactions related to material movement, inventory management, inbound shipments, and intra-site transfers.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, environmental practices, quality, and productivity within the Warehouse process team.

Lead root cause analysis investigations for Warehouse related deviations.

Ensure that all Warehouse and material storage activities adhere to safety, GMP, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Basic Requirements:

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree (Engineer, Supply Chain, or another related field)

2+ years experience in regulated manufacturing or warehouse operations, preferably with a focus in weigh & dispense functions

Additional Skills/Preferences:

Previous experience in a GMP and regulated environment.

Previous experience with material weigh and dispensing processes.

Previous experience with Process Safety Management.

Previous experience in warehousing/logistics.

SAP EWM and MES experience.

Additional Information:

Position Location: US: Lebanon IN LP1

Travel Percentage (%): 0-10%

Ability to travel internationally for one-to-two-week periods to observe affiliate operations

Shift Information: M-F 40-hour salary; On-site expectation.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$57,750 - $129,800

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
