We are currently seeking a qualified Warehouse Advisor to join our team at our site in Nouadhibou, Mauritania. Are you ready to be part of this exciting journey?

 

What will you be doing:

Order spare parts and tools required for the power plant operations. Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts and tools. Manage the organization and arrangement of the warehouse. Track and manage the inventory of parts and tools, including entries and exits. Follow and optimize the supply chain processes to ensure timely availability of required parts and tools. Write monthly warehouse management reports for the plant. Plan, organize, and supervise the execution of warehouse management programs. Prepare and submit the acceptance report to the customer for signature. Submit the warehouse management report to the customer within 48 hours after intervention. Train customer warehouse employees according to contractual terms and conditions. Maintain the warehouse during normal working hours according to company policies, procedures, and operation profile/plan. Comply with all safety regulations. Ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and effectively, taking necessary steps for prevention and correction of abnormalities. Assist the Warehouse Supervisor as required. Inspect warehouse systems and processes to detect faults and take necessary steps for prevention and correction of abnormalities. Monitor and optimize warehouse performance, ensuring adherence to operational standards. Maintain warehouse tools, fixtures, and hand tools. Report the works performed and other forms of reporting.

 

Desired Qualification, experience & skills:

Education : HND or Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical

Experience : 5 years previous experience in warehouse management in a 24/7 environment or large process plants.

 

General Skills : 

Excellent general knowledge of warehouse management and inventory control with superb organizational skills and abilities. Team worker. Problem-solving skills. Effective communication. Customer focus and ownership. Proficiency in French is a must. Good command of English (B2 level or superior). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Working knowledge of supply chain management. Knowledge of inventory management systems and tools. Knowledge of warehouse operations and performance optimization
