POSITION SUMMARY:

The Waiter is responsible for providing service assistance in an assigned area to ensure the highest level of food and beverage service and guest relations in accordance with City of Dreams Mediterranean vision, values and objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works in an assigned Outlet, ensuring all F&B Standard Operating Procedures are followedAssists in cashier, bartender, host or steward tasks if requested by the Outlet SupervisorAnticipates guests need and strives to exceed their expectations by following guidelines given by ManagementRecognizes regular customers, welcomes, smiles and maintains visual contact with every guestEnsures that all products and services are delivered accurately and in a timely mannerPerforms tasks to ensure readiness of the OutletFollows opening and closing procedures, by keeping the outlet clean and organized both at the front as well as the heart of the housePrepares working stations and ensures all equipment is organized, clean and in well conditionExhibits a thorough understanding of all related services and products and the ability to recommend and upsell alternatives when appropriateHolds a thorough knowledge of the casino and hotel layout in order to ensure that guest queries can be answered or referred promptlyEnsures high standards of personal presentation and groomingAttends training sessions and meetings as and when requiredAdheres to all Company policies and proceduresReports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisorsCarries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors due to business requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar role in the Hotel Industry
 

Education

High School diplomaQualifications related to the Hospitality Industry is an advantage

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsPossesses strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent command of English, Greek and other languages highly regardedAttention to detail
