Role Profile:
We are looking for Service & UI App Dev Lead to join our team. You will support existing Business Management Reporting (BMR) and Account Retention Tool (ART) applications on Java/J2EE and .NET tech stack. You will be part of cloud transformation journey from On-Prem to private cloud and eventually to public cloud. This is great opportunity for an experienced Dev Lead to join highly professional development team, working in collaboration with developers, BA and business across the WM department. You will be working on the full application lifecycle in a fast-paced, agile development environment, by partnering with global IT and business stakeholders of the current platform to analyze requirements, conduct business analysis, coming up with proposed designs for review by the wider team, implement and test the solution and finally provide training and support as part of the roll-out.
What you’ll do in the role:
Understand business needs and priorities and provide thought leadership on potential solutions and the opportunities for technology to create positive impact on the business.
Work with geographically dispersed teams (NYC, Alpharetta, Mumbai, and Bangalore).
Own small to medium scale strategic initiatives/projects, enhances process standards and best practices and supports production issues for currently live systems.
Demonstrate a passion for technology innovation balanced with a pragmatic approach to developing and deploying solutions that best benefit the business.
What you’ll bring to the role:
8+ years’ experience in a similar role
Deep familiarity with modern software development and design concepts encompassing a range of languages and platforms.
Experience in Scrum methodology and DevOps implementation.
Experience in .NET
Experience in Core Java
Experience in REST Services
Experience in Azure Cloud
Experience in Angular and related technologies (JavaScript, Node, Karma)
Experience with Database/SQL Server

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $170,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
